Problem with ZPLC03

We tried to engrave the ZPLC03 cross and came across the following problem --- some of the letters look striated. I have attached 3 photos that illustrate the problem. It looks like the laser is leaving a small area either not done or over done. We are not sure how to correct the problem.
(We had cleaned the laser a couple of days earlier and other engravings went without a hitch)

Kurt,
The engraving looks just a bit shallow. You can try running just that portion of the cross (the crossbar). I'll need to take a look at the green crossbar settings as they apply to the ZPLC03 to see if I need to make specific adjustments to get clean results.

Tim,
We have just engraved another cross using the template and have the same problem with the striation of the green area. I looked at the most recent laser update files and the settings have not changed from the original problem in June 2013. Have you looked at the laser settings? and are they correct? or do you still need to adjust them?
