"Help, My Laser Isn't Engraving Deep Enough!"

"Help, my laser isn't engraving deep enough! What do I do?"

Several things could cause this. If your lens is dirty, your laser won't be as powerful, so check that first. If it is clean, then likely the paint is a bit thicker on that piece or your laser has a slightly has a slightly different natural power (every laser machine is slightly different.)

Regardless of which it is, the fix is the same: If you open the machine and you see that it didn't get all the way through the paint, don't touch or move the piece! Leave it exactly where it is at. Simply push the green button again, and the laser will do another pass. The second pass should get through the paint/finish with no problem.
