Hi!
Is there a quick tutorial anywhere that explains how to start the laser at a certain point (how to set the center of where your design should be?). I remember doing it in class when we first started but I haven't had a need to do it until now!

You probably want to use the alignment tools to be sure about the alignment of your design. Alignment tools are the four-way arrow in the left toolbar. Use existing artwork or copy a relevant outline from layer 2 to align to. Select the "anchor" (i.e. the object to remain stationary) first, then select additional objects. Click the appropriate alignment tool ('vertical alignment', 'horizontal alignment', or 'centre objects').
