    Tips and Tricks: Keyboard Shortcuts

Use the control key to select multiple objects. Always select your anchor first when lining up one object with another. The anchor is the object that does not move.

If you hold the control key down while moving an object, the object will move only in a straight direction left and right, or up and down.

If you select and object, hold down the shift key, then move it - you will be creating a copy. This is a great time saver!

While resizing, moving, or rotating an object hit the F2 button to make these changes precisely. You must actually re-size, move, or rotate an object enough to see the dotted lines appear before hitting the F2 button.
